Monkula Anti-Vibration Boring Bars
A full range of anti-vibration boring bars to suit upto 14xD.
We have both steel only and steel & carbide boring bars.
All bars are anti-vibration with a damper system towards the cutting end of the bar.
The damper system is a threaded design and can increase the contact area with the tool. When the tool is cutting, the damper system counteracts the vibration frequency generated by the tool.
The product range can be broken down into 2 major groups:
- Fixed Head
- Interchangeable Head
The fixed cutting head range goes up to a max overall length of 350mm, with 14xD with the M3S type and 6xD with the steel only boring bars.
These are more suitable for small diameter hole boring.
The interchangeable head boring bars deal with deep hole boring and are much longer.
The internal carbide type is a great idea to protect against breakage.
