The SLU-X Steady Rests feature a large clamping range, and are suited for either fixed or travelling applications. The SLU-X Steady Rests also feature a fully sealed body, safety valve, stroke control (without proximity switch), port for compressed air, central lubrication, and chip guard.

The SLU-B Steady Rests are extra compact with a side mounted cylinder, and are suited for either fixed or travelling applications. As with all Standard Line Steady Rests from SMW Autoblok, the SLU-B Steady Rests feature a safety valve, stroke control (without proximity switch), port for compressed air, central lubrication, and chip guard.

SR-CL

The SR-CL features all of the SR series advantages along with centerline adjustment. CL equipment is used for workpieces with extremely high concentricity callouts. Fine radial readjustment of the workpiece is possible after material removal results in weight changes during machining. To readjust, simply dial the work piece in via the adjustment screws.

RX
- Clamp Range: 75mm – 685mm
- Monitoring open via proximity switch
The secret to the extra compact proportions of the RX is an innovative double cam actuating mechanism. This enables the RX to be built in a shape that avoids interference with operations by clearing both the door and chip conveyer of the machine. An integrated actuating cylinder completes the trim, but efficient, package.
SCU

Linear monitoring of the complete clamping stroke avoids collision with the tools, which is an added safety feature. Time saving by only partial opening of the steady rest (with corresponding hydraulic power unit)
SRG / SRG-B

The SRG is a grinding series steady rest designed to support shaft type workpieces on grinding machines. It is well suited for the machining of crankshafts and camshafts. The SRG allows for rapid alignment of the steady rest/work piece to the centerline with fine adjustment dials. It is follow down capable for applications with varying diameters.
